Introductory
Sentence
My name is Colton
Hendrick and I’m a very interesting person. I love to play baseball, football,
and basketball with all my friends. When I get older, I want to go into the NBA
or MLB. My favorite basketball team is the Golden State Warriors because they
are a good team and I really like Klay Thompson's and Stephen Curry’s shooting ability’s.
Also, a goal of mine is to go to all the
MLB teams’ stadiums, which there are 30 of them. I play baseball right now for
my local county team and a travel baseball team. The teams name is the Sauk
Valley Heat and I regret playing on the team. They were not the best baseball
players at all. For college I want to go for baseball or basketball. I really
like Ohio State, Michigan State, and Pittsburgh. The college I really wouldn’t
want to go to is to Minnesota because Minnesota’s colors and logo I just think
looks horrible.
When people see my
they normally call me tall, funny, and fast. What people don’t know is that I
think I can sing pretty good. I just don’t like to sing out in front of a lot
of people. I am a people person though; I like to talk to people a lot, but
singing is something I will not do. My Grandpa though, I talk to a lot because
he teaches me how to do everything I don’t know how to do. He taught me how to
play baseball, football, basketball, and how to fish.
My favorite thing
to do when I have nothing to do is playing Fortnite. I play Fortnite with my
friends and I’m good at it as well. I love to play baseball, basketball, and
football games also. My favorite baseball player is Andrew McCutchen. He plays
for the Philadelphia Phillies. When I get older, I want to live in
Pennsylvania, California, or Texas. I’m pretty interested in those states
sports teams, but I’m also pretty interested in Donald Trump and the stuff he
is doing right now in the White House. Id never want to live in the White house
it is too big. I would also never live in any haunted house because I really
dislike haunted things. My house though is decently nice and has a barn outside
which I have animals in. My first ever cat was calico and was named Max. He was
soft, nice, and really loved people.
As you can see, I
am a very interesting person.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great introduction for your visitors to find out about you. You are an extremely sporty person, unlike me, who is a couch potato and will watch sports such as cycling (Tour de France) and cricket on the TV screen. When younger I was a member of a softball team in primary school and then joined a ten pin bowling team as an adult.
Do most students in USA try to get to college through a scholarship in sport? What other types of scholarships might there be if you are not into sports?
You could get one for any sport you could imagine really.

I also really like playing basketball and baseball and I also would like to go to as many MLB games as I can. So far I've only gone to one. It was a Cubs/Brewers game because I really like the Cubs. DeleteHey Charles thank you for commenting. Yes, I do live on a farm. What do you do in your free time? I only have 1 sister, I don't think I could handle 8 siblings. I will go check out your blog.
DeleteIn my free time I like to help on the farm and drive the tractors. I drive the grain cart and chisel plow in the fall and I prep fields with the field cultivator in the spring. We have 2 tractors, a John Deere 9330 and a John Deere 8235 R. As for my siblings, it gets kind of crazy sometimes.

DeleteIf you cannot type over 60 wpm than you should get better because lots of jobs need faster typers and if you cannot type fast then you will not be accepted to any of the jobs.

I also like to talk to people just not really in public. I only sing around my family and friends, so there is not that many people. For animals I have 6 cats, 1 dog, 2 goats, 1 miniature pony, and 1 miniature donkey.
