Holidays my family celebrates

      One of my favorite holidays is one I celebrate at my house and at both sets of grandparents.  It is Christmas. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate because I get presents and I get to hang out with family and friends. I normally go shopping for gifts around the 10th of December. Last year my sister and I took a picture at my grandma's in front of the Christmas tree. Her food at Christmas is always good and I'm always excited to go back and have Christmas again the next year.  Christmas break is fun because I don't get to go to school for like 2 weeks.                                                                   

     Another family holiday I celebrate is Easter. Easter is pretty boring to me since I'm 14 and not really into some holidays. I took this picture when I was 11. My sister and I were going to Church and we dressed up nicely. After we go to Church we normally go to my grandmas and grandpas to color eggs. After that we go into town and find eggs at my great grandmas house. For supper we go to my third grandmas and eat with my aunt from Peoria and my grandma and grandpa. Having school out is great too because school is pretty boring.
     My final holiday is Thanksgiving at my great grandma's. It is one of favorites because of the good food.  My great grandma has the BEST ham!  Yes, I know you should eat turkey for Thanksgiving, but we have both ham and turkey there. After dinner, some of us play games.  One game is spoons.  I have to be careful though, because some people have long fingernails and rings!
