My Passion

       Walking alone in Africa, in the distance you see a colossal and beautiful creature. Getting closer you can see it's a tall mother giraffe with her son. Only in Africa, you can see these beautiful animals. Wouldn't you want to go to Africa and see these amazing animals as well.

       I love these animals because of how tall they are. They can get as high as 15 to 20 feet! People call me a giraffe in school because they are my favorite animal and im 6 foot. Their color pattern is also really cool. The bodies of giraffes are orange and brown and the legs are white. Only males become darker in color as they get older which is cool. Giraffes also have a really long tongue that is 20 inches. They have a long tongue, so they can eat the leaves off of the trees.
      Giraffes necks are as tall as me! They can grow over 6 feet tall. When they fight they whip their necks around using it like a club. It helps them when more fights as well. Giraffes dont even need to sleep to function. They can go on very little sleep as well and still function perfectly. Im also pretty fast but this giraffe can run way faster than me. They can run up to 35 mph!
       Id love to go to Africa and go see a giraffe that i can see and touch more than just one in a zoo. Africa would be fun to go to by itself but it would be a lot of money to get there. One day I hope I can go to Africa and see a giraffe.
